I have made it!! It’s day thirty of my thirty-day blog challenge. I can hardly believe it’s the last day. In the beginning, it seemed so far away, and now here I am at the end.

What an incredible experience this has been. I have proven to myself I can write something every day, even when I don’t feel like writing. I have become more aware of what’s happening around me, and am always on the lookout fr new blog topics. I learnt to become better at asking for help from those around me when I am very stuck.

I have discovered how much I enjoy writing. I love being able to transpose my thoughts and ideas from my head onto a page. I love that I can get clarity out of the chaos of ideas rushing around my head by putting them down on paper.

The most challenging thing about the thirty-day challenge of writing and posting every day were the days when life was busy. There were some days I felt were working against me writing anything. I would feel the pressure to get something out, and inevitably I would struggle to even think of what I would like to write about. Those were the days when I realised the importance of planning and writing in advance of posting day.

Reflection

What am I going to stop? I am going to stop posting a blog every day. It puts too much pressure on the process, and I want to put more thought into what I produce. I will stop coming up with ideas on the day, planning is what is needed, so there is more cohesion in the flow of information coming out.

What am I going to keep? I am going to keep writing blogs, and I am going to keep learning. I will continue to research various topics and share new information from researchers I find interesting, and I hope you will too.

What am I going to start? I am going to start posting a blog twice a week, rather than every day. My publishing days will be Monday and Thursday and will be found on my website www.mandyvevers.com/blog or on Medium.

I want to thank all of you who have been following my challenge. I appreciate the support you have given me, and I hope you found something of value too. Now it’s time to celebrate, which is something I have not been good at in the past. To celebrate, I will take a day off and relax tomorrow, and I am looking forward to it. Do you have something to celebrate? If so, I would love to see in the comments below, what you plan to do to celebrate.

Have a great day

Mandy
